Legal notice
APPLICABILITY AND CONSUMER LAW
These terms and conditions apply to all agreements between Lionoir and consumers within the European Union. If mandatory consumer law in the customer's country provides more extensive protection, that law prevails over these terms and conditions.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (EU-COMPLIANT)
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the product.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform Lionoir of their decision to withdraw from the agreement by an unequivocal statement (for example, by email).
Consequences of withdrawal:
Upon withdrawal, the consumer will receive all payments, including standard delivery costs, without delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal notice. Refunds may be withheld until the goods have been received or until the consumer proves that they have been returned.
Return costs:
The consumer must bear the immediate cost of returning the goods.
The consumer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

PASSING OF RISK
In sales to consumers, the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the consumer when they or a third party designated by them acquires physical possession of the goods.
The provision that risk passes upon transfer to the carrier does not apply to consumers.
LIABILITY
Lionoir is liable without limitation for damage caused by intent or gross negligence, as well as for damage resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
For other damages, Lionoir is only liable for breach of material contractual obligations and is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.
Liability under mandatory product liability law remains unaffected.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
Agreements between Lionoir and consumers are governed by Dutch law, with the exception of the Vienna Sales Convention.
If the consumer resides in another EU country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country continue to apply.
Consumers may bring proceedings before the competent court of their place of residence.
